This winter has brought us warm temps and a fair amount of rain. A bit unusual but comfortable compared to winter in other areas. The fish seem to be on the move when the fronts approach and that is happening almost weekly. This means it is pot luck when the bite is best, I know, it is fishing. Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish and Bonita are taking turns being the action of the day. If you pick a lucky day you will get great weather and mix of all.
Inshore the light tackle action has been great this winter. Lots of Jack Crevalle and Barracuda bites. This is a great way to get the kids into the sport. Always calm and very consistent action.
